Four-years in the making, this 15-minute live-action/animation hybrid boasts over 150 Computer Generated shots. It tells the story of 2880 (Shohei Uesugi) who has to drive a remote-operated vehicle across a planet filled with dangerous monsters by 3am or face the wrath of a disgruntled boss (Tim Horn). Working from a desk in the futuristic cubicle he also lives in, 2880’s one companion is a young woman (Megan Clement) who he communicates with only via a monitor, even though she is much closer than he thinks…

Epic in scope yet completed on a budget of only $10,000 dollars, “Blue Lollipop” was a labor of love for all involved.
